SelfCare stocks the widest range and quantity of rental equipment inventory in the Lower Mainland of BC, including many of the most recent equipment offerings by manufacturers and specialized equipment for bariatric clients. The large stock of inventory means that SelfCare will have the item you need available for rent when you need it.

How to Rent from SelfCare

SelfCare’s rental program is geared towards flexibility – one day, one week, one month rentals - that are delivered, set up, and then removed.

Evaluation (assessment) support is available to help the client, caregiver and health care professional make appropriate decisions as to which equipment should be selected.

Once the equipment is selected, the ordering process is simple:

  1. Contact SelfCare directly to arrange the rentals.
  2. SelfCare staff will confirm availability and delivery time with the client, caregiver, or health care professional.
  3. SelfCare staff will check over all equipment prior to delivery to ensure it meets our standards and that it is set up as intended for the client.
  4. SelfCare staff will deliver and install equipment at the arranged time.
  5. SelfCare staff will instruct the client, caregiver and health care professional on the proper usage of the equipment and, if required, on maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.
  6. SelfCare staff will provide ongoing advice and service to the client, caregiver, and health care professional as to the use and continued appropriateness of the equipment and will address any service or maintenance issues arising at the client’s residence.
  7. SelfCare will provide pickup and de-installation services, including restoration work to client’s residence if required.
  8. SelfCare will prepare the billing information in accordance with the agreed upon billing structure.

Try Before You Buy Program

Try our equipment before you buy – 100% of the first month rental is deducted if the item currently rented is purchased.

Rental Equipment Guarantee

Once the medical equipment is selected for rental, we guarantee delivery, setup, take down, and removal of the equipment within a maximum of one to two business days (depending on the specific location) of receiving a request for the services.
