The Roho SelectAir Max is a mattress replacement customized for the prevention and treatment for stages I to IV. The SelectAir Max is a true low air loss mattress using a blower pump to push air though tiny holes on the top of the mattress baffles. This air dissipates the excess moisture that collects under the vapour permeable cover. It provides extra features in addition to the base features of the SelectAir Mattress. These are:
- Auto comfort which sets the level of air in the mattress based on the weight of the patient
- System lock to prevents unwanted changes to the mattress air setting
- Pulsation in 1, 7 or 15 minutes cycles for comfort
The SelectAir mattress replacement system is also available. It does not have as many features as the SelectAir Max. The features that are included with the SelectAir Max but not with the SelectAir are:
- Auto Comfort which with the push of one button sets the optimal inflation for the mattress based on the patient’s weight
- System lock to prevent unwanted changes to the mattress settings
- Pulsation - The SelectAir has no pulsation mode
Special Product Features
Both the SelectAir and the SelectAir Max have:
- Quick inflation
- 3 zones for sensing inflation levels
- Firm mode to use for transfers
- Upright mode to increase air flow to the trunk area when the head of the bed is raised
- User Weight Capacity: 400 lbs
- Foot pillow option to provide for protection if the patient migrates down the bed
The SelectAir Max has:
- Integrated size bolsters run from head to foot
- Auto Comfort button sets the mattress to optimal pressure according to the user's weight distribution
- System Lock, and Pulse Mode
- Powered or static - Powered low air loss with pulsation
- Size - 8" thickness 36 x 80"
SelfCare stocks the SelectAir Max for rental at $595 plus $50 rental for the standard cover. As an alternative, the cover can be purchased for $617 or the SelectProtect cover purchased for $995 when bed rails are not going to be used with the mattress.
