Seating and Mobility Sales Consultants / Assessment Staff

Our team of sales professionals provides client-oriented consultation in the selection of the appropriate medical equipment. They are experienced professionals who are committed to constant product training to keep their product knowledge current. They work with the client, caregivers, and the health care professional, often occupational or physiotherapists, to address all the issues involving the client’s equipment needs. They are able to understand the objectives of the client and problem solve with the health care professional to get the best fit.

SelfCare stocks a wide range of trial equipment to assist clients in their selection and evaluation process. This helps the clients understand and determine how their equipment will function in their environment.

Our in-store medical equipment specialists coordinate all deliveries, pick up and service issues and schedule appointment times (Yes, we book an actual time, in ½ hour increments, that someone will arrive at your door – no waiting all day for a delivery!). They can answer your questions and discuss equipment options and alternatives with you. They are fully versed in medical equipment products for a wide range of uses. Whether on the phone or at one of our locations, our in-store medical equipment specialists are ready to listen to you.

There is a specific Medical Equipment Specialist who coordinates funding programs.

No one wants to need a good repair technician, but when you do, SelfCare has the trained technician to find any problem. Many of our technicians have electronics degrees and all of them have the mechanical aptitude and continuous manufacturer training to keep you on the road if you falter. Our technicians’ problem-solving skills go beyond mechanical repairs to the initial set up and testing of many of the products before they are delivered.
